Sharon V. Rotz is an enthusiastic quilting teacher, textile artist, and designer. Her award winning quilts have been displayed at international quilt shows, competitions and traveling exhibits. As a textile artist, Sharon has exhibited in gallery shows and has been commissioned by both private collectors and large corporations.
Sharon designs her own line of quilting patterns, by Sher and has written two quilting books, Log Cabin Quilts with Attitude and Quilting Through the Seasons. Specializing in creative use of color and design, Sharon would love to share her quilting adventures with your guild or group.
"I love the color, the texture, and the pattern designs of fabric. It is exciting to experiment with different combinations to see what new perspectives can be achieved. Much of my newest work leans more toward conveying a feeling rather than creating a painstaking realistic image. It is a growing process and I strive to extend myself on each new project."
